FM11 LTE - power-independent monitoring

The FM11 LTE Terminal is a device designed to operate in harsh conditions. It features a sealed enclosure with an IP67 rating. Currently, research is underway for certification compliant with the IP68 standard. The new generation of this device is equipped with a transparent cover, allowing observation of the internal LEDs that indicate GSM/GPS signal strength without the need to open the enclosure. The device is used for securing cargo, trailers, containers, boats, and other assets where tracking the location is required without access to external power. The terminal is equipped with an input that allows for control, such as opening the cargo space, in the case of using an additional contact sensor.

One of the main advantages is the technology used in the battery of the FM11 LTE terminal. It enables the terminal to operate on battery power in extremely challenging weather conditions, and the number of charging cycles contributes to the battery's lifespan, which can be up to 10 times longer than that of competing solutions. A single battery charge allows the terminal to operate for up to 6 months after the appropriate configuration is set.

The phenomenon of its self-discharge becomes noticeable only when the temperature drops below -40 °C, whereas batteries from competing companies start to discharge at temperatures below -20 °C. A similar situation is observed during the charging process. Our battery allows for charging even at -20 °C, while batteries used in competitive devices cease to charge at temperatures below 0 °C.
